CoinAgenda Europe Features All-Star Lineup of Cryptocurrency Funds & Founders, Plus ICO Presentations

World’s Leading High-End Conference for Investors in $100 Billion Market for Bitcoin, Ethereum & Digital Assets Will Also Feature 20 Startups in High-Profile Contest Which Has Already Produced 10 ICOs

(BARCELONA, June 30, 2017) — CoinAgenda (www.coinagenda.com), the first and most prominent high-end conference connecting professional and individual investors in Bitcoin, Ethereum, cryptocurrencies and other digital assets with companies and foundations in the public and private blockchain sectors will hold its first European conference (and fifth overall) in Barcelona, Spain, on July 16–18 at the World Trade Center, adjacent to the Eurostars Grand Marina hotel, in the heart of Barcelona’s tourist district.

The World Trade Center in the Barcelona Marina will be site of CoinAgenda Europe.

The conference will feature some of the world’s most prominent investors in both Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), more formally known as token crowdsales, as well as venture-backed blockchain companies, including Blockchain Capital managing director Brock Pierce, who recently sold out the first tokenized venture capital offering, BCAP, in six hours; Anthony Di Iorio, Ethereum co-founder and blockchain investor; Eddy Travia, founder of publicly listed blockchain accelerator Coinsilium; and Silicon Valley “super angels” Gil Penchina, Flight.VC (#1 syndicate on AngelList) and Richard Titus, serial entrepreneur and blockchain investor.

On the digital asset side, founders of some of the top founders of world’s most prominent token foundations will speak, including Joe Lubin, co-founder of Ethereum and founder, ConsenSys; Sasha Ivanov, Waves Platform founder; Albert Castellanos, NEM Foundation; and Iconomi founder Jani Valjavec will discuss the hot topics in the development, sales and future of digital assets, which in the past eight months have skyrocketed from $14 billion to more than $100 billion in market cap. The popular cryptocurrency Ethereum has increased in value from $7 to more than $300 during that period of time and bitcoin is in the midst of its longest bull market in its eight-year history.

“Bitcoin and digital assets are no longer the butt of jokes or glazed looks,” said Michael Terpin, founder of CoinAgenda and of Transform Group, the leading PR and advisory firm for the digital assets sector and co-founder of BitAngels, the Dapps Fund, Bitcoin Syndicate on AngelList and a special advisor to Alphabit Fund, as well as an active angel investor and advisor in the sector. “When the Wall Street Journal points out that the sector outperformed every other category of financial asset for six of the past seven years, family offices and institutional investors start to listen.”

Family offices and sovereign wealth funds represent trillions of dollars in wealth and could create an exponential increase on top of today’s bull market for digital assets, said Terpin. Sections at the two-and-a-half-day conference include sessions on “Investing in Digital Assets for Family Offices,” “Buy and Hold vs. Active Trading of Assets,” and “The Flippening: Will Ethereum Become the New Bitcoin?” Other sessions will delve into specific markets within the cryptocurrency realm, including “Value Investing: How to Recognize an Undervalued Public Blockchain,” “Gaming and Digital Assets: Will One $100 Billion Market Disrupt Another?”, and “Beyond Ethereum: Which New Platforms Can Scale Faster, Better and Cheaper.”

A highlight of every CoinAgenda is the unique, luxurious venues and networking among industry leaders in an intimate environment. Attendance is limited to 200 people, and the party highlights include a four-hour opening party on a 85-foot catamaran in the Barcelona marina and a VIP dinner at the historic Gaudi Casa Batllo on Monday night.

The site of Monday night’s Legendary Dinner is the Gaudi Casa Batllo.

This year’s CoinAgenda is sponsored by Consultations Network, blockchain based knowledge transfer, as Platinum Sponsor; Propy, the first peer-to-peer real estate exchange platform using Ethereum, Gold Sponsor; CoinCircle, Gold Sponsor; Opening Party Sponsor Unikorn Gold; and Dinner Sponsor CryptoArt.
